Cosmetic dentistry offers a whole variety of procedures. Basically, if I had a mouthful of silver fillings and silver everywhere, you replace those with white tooth-colored fillings. If you have stained teeth, you can do simple bonding. If your teeth are just stained and you need a good cleaning, you can just do a whitening.
If you need some more, and there’s cavities and things that are broken down, then you can do some crowns or a porcelain veneer, which I tell people is like a three-quarter crown—it just is on the front, and basically, they’ll fix your teeth. Like I said, it may or may not be a lot. If you’re missing a tooth, a mini implant’s a wonderful thing. We place a mini implant and get your smile back. Anything to make yourself look better is cosmetic dentistry.
